This privacy policy informs you how

DISCURV, SAS, with registered office at 84 Quai des Chartrons, 33300 Bordeaux, registered in the Bordeaux RCS under number 821466877 and with a share capital of € 49,924.00, represented by Guillaume David as president (the “Company”)

processes your personal data in connection with the studies you are participating in. It also details the rights you have to this data and how to exercise them.

1. Who processes your personal data?

By participating in the study we offer you, you provide us with information that allows you to identify yourself: this is personal data.

Personal data is information that allows you to be identified directly or indirectly. Examples: Your name, surname, email address, IP address, telephone number and any information about you.

The law requires the person collecting personal information to inform the persons concerned, in particular about the purposes and periods of data retention.

These obligations are laid down in the European Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data (“GDPR”) and Law n° 78-17 of 6 January 1978 relating to information technology, files and freedoms.

Several entities are responsible for processing your personal data according to the conditions of the studies envisaged. It can be the Company, the client who is ordering the study you are participating in or both. These data controllers work together with partners who are their subcontractors of data controllers.

In accordance with Article 4 of the GDPR, the controller is the entity that alone or jointly with others determines the purposes and means of processing. The processor is the entity that processes the data in the name and on behalf of the controller and in accordance with its instructions. The data controller is solely responsible for the actions carried out on your data in its possession.

The following two personal data processing situations are possible:

  • When we obtain your data from the customer or when the customer asks us to carry out a study for its needs: we act as the Customer’s subcontractor who is the sole controller of your data.
  • When we process your data to create our own panel of respondents: we are responsible for the processing of your data.

When we act as data controller, we are responsible for the deletion, disclosure or modification of your personal data. This privacy policy describes the data processing for which we act as processor or controller.

2. What data do we collect and for what purposes?

We process the following categories of data:

  • Your identification data: name, first name, email address, contact details
  • Any data provided during your answers to the questions of the study that may concern your life, consumption or other

We may collect sensitive data (health data, political opinions, religious beliefs, etc.) only with your express consent.

We cannot collect your data without a purpose or purpose. Each of your data in our possession must serve a purpose. The following is a list of purposes for which we may use your data:

  • Formatting data if it was sent by the client (clean, duplicate, extract necessary data, format, create ID for people)
  • Sending an email with links to the studyCollect your answers to the study
  • Anonymation of the answers and generation of a report aggregating the different responses to the study
  • Details of a panel of respondents for future studies

We obtain your consent through a specific check box. Without this consent, we cannot process your data. Therefore, you can only participate in the study if you consent to the processing of your data. If you do not consent to this treatment, you will not be able to answer the study questions.

Except when the customer provides us with your data, we do not provide any personal data to customers and only aggregate information.

We may obtain your data through:

  • An advertising agency of social networks
  • A panelist company to obtain additional data

3. How long do we keep your data?

In the case of studies, we retain your data for the duration of the study and delete it within three (3) months from the date of collection. The Customer may keep your data for an additional period as a controller. If you wish the Client to delete your data, you can request it directly from us so that we transmit your data.If you agree to be part of the panel of respondents, your profile data is kept as long as you are a member of said panel. If you choose to unsubscribe, all your data will be immediately destroyed.

4. Do we transfer your data to third parties?

The data collected will be communicated to the following recipients internally:.

- Data analysts

-Insight managers

We will allow our partners to access your data. Outside of these partners, we never make the data available to third parties for commercial purposes.In fact, in order to achieve all or part of the purposes mentioned aboveWe will transmit and share your personal data with the recipients indicated below:

  • Data hosting and platform providers
  • TraducteursTechnical provider for the analysis of audience measurement data on our platform
  • We can provide you with the contact details of subcontractors upon request.

If we carry out an operation on our company (sale, fundraising...), we also transfer your data to the third party involved and its advice. In this case, your data will be processed by a new controller, namely the entity that received your data. We will no longer be responsible for their processing. It will be his responsibility to inform you directly.

5. Are your data transferred outside the European Union?

Your data may be transferred to a country outside the European Union when we use the services of a provider whose servers are located outside the European Union. In this context, we ensure that the provider has sufficient guarantees to allow him to access data (signature of standard contractual clauses, adherence to the Data Privacy Framework for providers whose servers are located in the United States...).

6. How can you withdraw your consent?

You can withdraw your consent to the processing of your data at any time and thus terminate your participation in the study. Please note that the withdrawal of your consent will not affect the lawfulness of the processing of your data carried out before the withdrawal of your consent.

7. What are your rights with regard to the personal data we collect?

The law and the GDPR guarantee you 7 rights on the data we collect.

These are:

1. Right of access to obtain a copy of your personal data and information regarding their processing

2. Right of opposition to withdraw consent and/or stop the processing of your data in certain circumstances

3. Right to erasure allows you to request the deletion of your data in certain circumstances

4. Right to limitation allows you to request the restriction of data that is processed in certain circumstances

5. Right to rectification allows you to modify your inaccurate data

6. Right to portability allows you to receive the data you have provided in order to transmit it to another entity

7. Post mortem guidelines allows you to decide how your data will be kept, shared or deleted after your death

‍In accordance with articles 15 to 21 of the GDPR, you can contact us to exercise certain rights on the data in our possession. On this occasion, we may require additional information.We have appointed a personal data protection officer who can be contacted by email at : dpo@discurv.com

If we update this document, we will inform you by any means. We will also invite you to take note of the new version.As part of our obligation of transparency, we will update this document in case of changes in the processing of your data (eg: new purposes, new typology of subcontractors...).
